Discover the Power of NAD+ Injections at NovaGenix: Your Key to More Energy, Clarity & Youthful Vitality

Discover the Power of NAD+ Injections at NovaGenix Health & Wellness

Feeling run down? Wishing you had more energy? At NovaGenix, we're excited to introduce you to NAD+ injections – a revolutionary way to help you revitalize your body from the inside out!

What is NAD+? (And Why Should You Care?)

Imagine your body's cells are like tiny power plants, constantly working to keep you healthy and energized. NAD+ (which stands for Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is like the essential "fuel" or "spark plug" that these power plants need to operate efficiently. It's a natural molecule found in every single cell in your body, and it's absolutely vital for everything from creating energy to repairing your DNA.

Think of it this way:

  • Energy Production: NAD+ is crucial for turning the food you eat into the energy your body uses for everything – from thinking and moving to healing and fighting off illness.
  • Cell Repair: It plays a key role in fixing damaged cells and protecting your DNA, which helps keep you healthy and potentially slow down the aging process.
  • Overall Well-being: NAD+ is involved in so many essential bodily functions that having optimal levels can contribute to a feeling of overall wellness, sharper mental clarity, and improved physical performance.

The Aging Connection: Why NAD+ Levels Decline

Here's the thing: while your body naturally produces NAD+, those levels naturally start to decline as you get older. In fact, by the time you're 50, your NAD+ levels can be about half of what they were when you were younger!

This decline is a natural part of aging and can contribute to:

  • Feeling tired or low on energy
  • Difficulty concentrating or "brain fog"
  • Increased vulnerability to age-related health issues
  • Slower recovery from physical activity

Any of this sound familiar? Scientists believe this drop in NAD+ is a significant factor in many of the changes we associate with aging, including how well our cells produce energy and repair themselves.

How Can NAD+ Injections Help You?

At NovaGenix, we offer NAD+ injections as a direct and efficient way to replenish your body's NAD+ levels. Unlike some oral supplements, injections deliver NAD+ directly into your bloodstream, ensuring maximum absorption and effectiveness.

What Can NAD+ Injections Do For YOU?

At NovaGenix, our NAD+ injections are designed to help you unlock a wide range of benefits, empowering you to live life to the fullest. Imagine:

  • Thinking Clearly: Say goodbye to brain fog and enjoy enhanced mental clarity.
  • Boosting Your Energy: Experience sustained, natural energy levels throughout your day.
  • Sharpening Your Focus: Improve your memory and concentration for better productivity and recall.
  • Optimizing Your Body's Engine: Rejuvenate your metabolism, helping your body work more efficiently.
  • Elevating Your Performance: Boost your agility and athletic capabilities.
  • Fortifying Your Defenses: Strengthen your immune system, helping you stay healthier.
  • Supporting Heart Health: Promote healthy cholesterol and blood pressure levels.
  • Improving Circulation: Enhance blood flow, which is vital for overall wellness.
  • Balancing Your Mood: Support the production of key brain chemicals like dopamine and serotonin for a better sense of well-being.

The Science Behind NAD+

Scientists are continually researching the many ways NAD+ impacts our health. We know that NAD+ helps activate special proteins in your body called "sirtuins," which are like the "guardians" of your cells. These sirtuins play a crucial role in repairing DNA, controlling inflammation, and even influencing how long cells live. By boosting NAD+ levels, we're essentially giving these guardians more "fuel" to do their important work!

Is NAD+ Right for You?

If you're looking to boost your energy, improve your mental clarity, and support your overall health and well-being as you age, NAD+ injections at NovaGenix Health & Wellness might be an excellent option for you.

NAD+ Subcutaneous Injections: A Convenient Option

At NovaGenix, we understand that everyone's needs are different. That's why we offer NAD+ subcutaneous (SQ) injections. This method involves a quick injection directly under the skin, typically in areas like your abdomen, upper arm, or thigh.

The benefit of SQ injections is a slower, more sustained release of NAD+ into your system, which can be ideal for consistent support. These injections are generally quicker to administer than IVs, and for some patients, they can even be self-administered at home after receiving proper training from our team.

This option offers a convenient way to integrate NAD+ therapy into your routine, helping you maintain optimal energy and wellness. Is this the right fit for your lifestyle? Let's discuss it with Dr. Mackey during your consultation!

For patients that qualify, our partner pharmacies will be able to dispense and ship the medication and supplies directly to your door, making the process as convenient and simple as possible. We've helped countless patients look, live and feel better...Check out our reviews here!

A growing body of academic research supports the diverse benefits of NAD+ in human health and well-being. Peer-reviewed studies indicate its crucial role in cellular energy production, DNA repair, and maintaining metabolic function, with findings suggesting potential improvements in cognitive function, athletic performance, and even aspects of healthy aging. For detailed scientific evidence, readers are encouraged to explore the extensive literature published in journals such as the National Library of Medicine, The American Heart Association Journals, and those indexed on PubMed Central with links below.

Frequently Asked Questions About Testosterone Replacement Therapy

Unlocking Vitality: Your FAQs on Testosterone Therapy at NovaGenix

Feeling a persistent dip in energy, a lowering of your libido, or just noticing changes in your overall body composition that just won't budge? You're not alone. Many men start to experience symptoms associated with low testosterone in their 30's and 40's. It's a condition that can significantly impact quality of life, yet fortunately treatable.

At NovaGenix Health and Wellness, we understand these concerns and are committed to helping you navigate the complexities of hormonal health. This FAQ entry we put together will help shed some light on Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), hopefully answering some of the most pressing questions about this type of medical treatment and how it might, how to get started and how we can help you reclaim your vitality and improve your overall health and quality of life.

  • What is Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)? TRT is a medical treatment that involves administering external testosterone to men with abnormally low testosterone levels (hypogonadism) and associated symptoms. At NovaGenix, our goal is to restore hormone balance and fight the symptoms of Low, like low libido, fatigue, and muscle loss with prescription medication, typically testosterone, hCG or enclomiphene. Learn more about TRT here.

  • ?  Who is a candidate for TRT? Men who are experiencing the signs and symptoms of low testosterone, confirmed by blood tests showing consistently low levels of free and/or total testosterone (typically below 300 ng/dL), may be potential candidates for TRT. A comprehensive evaluation by our physician, Dr. Timothy Mackey is needed to determine suitability, eliminate any contraindications as well as rule out other causes for symptoms.

  • ?  What are some of the common symptoms of low testosterone (Low T)?  Everyone is different so symptoms of Low T can include decreased sex drive (libido), erectile dysfunction, persistent fatigue, reduced muscle mass and strength, increased body fat (especially around the midsection), mood changes (like irritability or depression), brain fog, and decreased bone density to name a few of the more common ones.

  • ?  How is TRT administered? TRT can be administered to patients in many different ways. Injections (intramuscular or subcutaneous) are the most popular but for those who don’t wish to use needles, topical gels or creams applied to the skin, patches, and subcutaneous pellets inserted under the skin also work well. The best method for TRT depends on individual preference, lifestyle, and medical needs which can be determined via a consultation with an experienced physician who understands the nuances of hormone therapy for men.

  • ?  What’s the potential benefits of TRT? If you have been tested and have clinically low testosterone, Testosterone treatments can help lead to increased energy, improved sexual functioning (both improved libido and erections), as well as enhanced muscle mass and strength. TRT can also help to reduce body fat, leading to a better, more toned physique, improve confidence and self-esteem, improved mood, cognitive functioning, and increased bone density to name a few.

  • ?  Are there risks or side effects associated with TRT? Yes, like any medical treatment, TRT has potential benefits, risks and side effects. Some of the more common ones include acne or oily skin, fluid retention. More serious, though less common, risks can include an increased red blood cell count, worsening of sleep apnea, and breast enlargement.  However, an experienced provider like Dr. Mackey can help mitigate these risks by adjusting a patient’s protocol, so having a doctor with knowledge of HRT is vital.  It's crucial to discuss all benefits as well as risks with your doctor.

  • ?  How long does it take to see results from TRT?  As all people are unique, the timeline for seeing results varies for individuals. Some men might notice improvements in energy and mood within a few weeks, while more significant physical changes such as increased muscle mass or reduced body fat could take several months (3-6 months or longer). There's many factors which will determine what type of results one may expect to see and how long it takes for them to manifest themselves in the patient. Things like age, lifestyle choices, diet and exercise routines, genetics, medication dose and protocol to name a few when see the onset of TRT benefits.

  • ?  How will my progress be monitored on TRT? For any patient on TRT regular monitoring is essential. Dr. Mackey will typically conduct initial TRT blood tests (including testosterone levels, PSA, and Hematocrit (red blood cell count) before starting therapy. After starting TRT he will request follow-up blood tests at regular intervals (usually 2, 6, and 12 months, to potentially adjust dosage and monitor for side effects.

  • ?  Can TRT affect fertility? Yes, TRT can suppress the body's natural production of testosterone and sperm, potentially leading to reduced fertility or even infertility. Taking testosterone will potentially lower the LH and FSH production which can lower sperm count so If you plan to have biological children, this is a critical consideration to discuss with your doctor before starting TRT. Fortunately, medication like hCG and enclomiphene can reverse this and help maintain natural production of both sperm and testosterone as well as fight testicular atrophy in men on TRT. At NovaGenix we have helped many patients on TRT conceive while on testosterone treatment.

  • ?  Is TRT safe long-term? When administered and monitored by an experienced and qualified healthcare provider like Dr. Mackey at NovaGenix, TRT can be safe for long-term use in appropriate candidates. However, ongoing monitoring is needed to manage potential side effects and assess overall health. TRT is not recommended for men with certain pre-existing conditions like prostate or breast cancer so having an open and honest initial consultation is an important part of this journey.

  • Do You Offer Telemedicine Visits?  Yes, depending on the state you live in and current telemedicine laws, we may be able to provide you with a remote telemedicine appointment. Our partner US based pharmacies will then dispense and deliver medicine to those patients who qualify for treatment, straight to your door!  At NovaGenix we will be there to help with administration and answer any questions that you may have regarding your prescription or protocol any time you need. Just click the following link here and fill out our new patient intake form. Once received, we will reach out and schedule your initial consultation with the doctor.

  • Is treatment covered through my insurance? If you’re looking to get TRT treatment that is covered by your insurance, your best bet is to reach out to your insurance provider to see what their requirements for reimbursement are. Often it involves multiple blood test results showing testosterone levels below a predetermined lab threshold and you may be required to see an in-network provider. Also, the provider may be required to treat you via a protocol determined by the insurance company in order for the provider or clinic to be paid, so you will receive a “cookie cutter approach” to TRT that may not benefit your individual needs as a patient.
