Clinics that prescribe hCG
Due to changes in FDA regulations regarding which pharmacies were able to manufacture in compound hCG and national shortages, it has been very difficult for patients to obtain hCG for use with their testosterone replacement therapy protocol.
Patients often ask us…“How do I get HCG?” or “Can I get HCG over the counter?” The answer No, you cannot get it over the counter. You need a doctor’s prescription in the United States for HCG, but fortunately we can help. NovaGenix is now offering hcg online consultations with our certified, licensed and experienced physician for men on TRT (testosterone replacement therapy.) A quick and convenient telemedicne consultation with our physician and you’ll be able to still obtain FDA approved HcG shipped to your door, straight from a licensed U.S. Pharmacy. Recently ,on March 23rd, 2020 Human chorionic gonadotropin, or HCG, was designated as one of several medications that the FDA will now consider “Biologic Products”. This means that local compounding pharmacies who fall under the 503A pharmacies under the FD&C Act are no longer able to compound/make HCG without a special “Biologics License”. We are seeing TRT clinics switching to Clomid, also known as clomiphene citrate which is often prescribed for infertility. It is useful and an adequate substitute for HcG but it comes down to patient preference. https://novagenix.org/clomid-for-low-testosterone/
Also Gonadorelin is being substituted for HcG and is a man-made protein which causes the pituitary gland to release other hormones (luteinizing hormone [LH] and follicle-stimulating hormone [FSH]), which stimulates testosterone production in men on TRT. However research shows that it due to the short half life of this medication which can be between 2 to 10 minutes (vs 36 hours for HcG), injections a minimum of 6 times daily are needed have a similar clinical effect as two 500iu injections of HcG

Some frequently asked questions regarding hCG that we receive:
Can any doctor prescribe hCG?
FDA approved human chorionic gonadotropin is only available in
injection form and will require a written prescription from a licensed medical
professional such as a doctor, physician or PA.
How can I legally buy hCG?
The FDA has classified hCG as a drug which means that it will
require a prescription and cannot legally be sold as an over-the-counter
medication. It’s legally by HCG you will need a physicians prescription, and a
licensed US pharmacy will be able to fill your prescription and in many cases
can even ship your medication to you.
Are there other medication ‘s that can replace hCG?
There are several peptides and medications that are being utilized to replace hCG. Gonadorelin and Kisspeptin are two medication ‘s that doctors are switching their patients to as a result of limited supply of hCG, yet their effectiveness is questionable. Enclomiphene is a non-steroid estrogen receptor antagonist which will promote testosterone secretion within the testes and is commonly used for fertility.
