As most people seem to focus on the highly noticeable effects of weight loss (meaning the physical transformation an individual goes through), many people miss out on the more important benefits, which include not just improving one’s health but to the psychological well-being of the individual as well.  It's very difficult to gauge and in some cases even register the emotional improvements that a person benefits when they achieve a healthier weight.
